Music composer-actor G V Prakash released a new video seeking support and relief for the cyclone affected areas in Kanyakumari. He and actor Aari also visited some of the areas of Kanyakumari.Aari said, Many fishermen have lost their lives in the cyclone and more than 600 fishermen haven’t yet returned home. Fishing is their only livelihood as the banana and rubber plantations along with farming have almost become extinct in the region. The government should use the latest techniques to find out the missing fishermen in the sea.'Actor Abi Saravanan also ensured that he contributed for relief works.
'I distributed the relief items including biscuits, water bottles, bread, jam, fruits, glucose, rusk, dry fruits, nuts, rice, wheat flour, Maida, sugar and salt and other materials like bed sheets, clothes, basic medicines'.
